TECHNOLOGY IN THE STREETS

The sunshine city (Harare) has seen vendors cast shadow over Zimbabwe's Sunshine city which some have now dubbed the dump site city.

Recently i came across a Harare resident who said, "inasmuch as everything is now available in stores and supermarkets, all things can now be accessed on the streets on the once sunshine city." Surprisingly, technology is also being accessed on the streets, with cellphones, cellphone covers, pouches, watches, CDs and other accessories being sold in the streets. Trading with these vendors is feasible for most citizens as they offer negotiable prices and may at times accept batter trade.

The City of Kings and Queens (Bulawayo) has also seen new kings and queens in the streets who at times even sell goods which are not yet available in the shops. To my surprise, some shops now even have their argents in the street to direct customers to their shops.
